A case study in how a mid-sized European estate repositioned itself for the North American market.

A mid-sized estate in Southern France had been exporting to North America for over a decade through a single importer, at modest volumes, with little brand awareness beyond a niche circle of Francophile collectors.

The challenge

Their wines were genuinely excellent. Their prices were competitive. But their digital footprint was almost non-existent think an outdated website, an Instagram account updated sporadically, and no presence in the US digital wine media ecosystem.

The strategy

Over six months, we rebuilt their digital presence from the ground up: a new content strategy focused on storytelling around the estate and winemaker, targeted paid social campaigns aimed at US fine wine buyers aged 35–55, and a systematic outreach programme to US wine media and trade publications.

The result

Export revenue to North America doubled within 18 months. More importantly, they'd built a direct relationship with US consumers, reducing their dependence on a single importer and creating a platform for long-term growth.
